Ever since his many controversies, and court appearances, the king of pop, Michael Jackson, is finally returning to making music. Rapper / producer, Akon, has recently teamed up with him for both of their upcoming albums, out later this year. The track is called "Hold My Hand" and it an amazing, uptempo pop song with an r&b touch. This song also shows a different of Akon, compared to his hit "Smack That". Michael is also doing great in the song, and I think now with Akon's help they can all receive another #1 song! Enjoy it!

R&B boy band, Day26, got their start last year on Diddy's MTV show Making the Band. Now, a year later, the boys are sensations around the country. Their second single, "Since You've Been Gone" off their self-titled debut, is a bit of a grower, but eventually, you will learn to love it. The video is like those for most other R&B love songs, but this one was different, I really like it. I hope these boys go far, they really deserve it. Enjoy!

Last year, Atlanta rapper T.I., rose to fame in the industry with his major single "Big Things Poppin' (Do It)". After a very successful album, T.I. is back doing it all over again. His first single "No Matter What" is already starting to get popular, and here is the video for it. The song is very moving, IMO, and it is very influential. The video is very simple, but I think it will still go far. He will release his next album, ''The Paper Trail'' later this year. Enjoy it!!

MTV reality star, Heidi Montag, has been trying to start a career in music this last year, and it has been the least of being succesful. Her first song "Body Language" was great, but she began to fail after her dissapointing singles "Higher" and "Dramatic" were released. She is once again trying again with her newest single "Fashion". The song is a good uptempo, pop-dance track, and I think this will actually be really big! The lyrics are really addictive and I love the part when she sings in French. Let's wish this becomes the hit it deserves to be! Enjoy it!

Exactly a year ago, Lil' Mama rose to fame with her smash single "Lip Gloss". After many other semi-popular singles, Lil' Mama is back with her fifth video for "What It Is (Strike a Pose)" featuring T-Pain. The song has a bit of a gangsta rap theme to it, even though it is still kinda hip-pop. The video, is very 80's, but still very cool and fun at the same time. This is one of her best tracks ever, IMO, and I hope it becomes the hit it deserves to be. Enjoy!

Hey ya'll! It's been a while since we got a new banner here on the site. Well, today, we have a brand new beautiful banner for M&M ~ Music Mania. It was created by the fabulous Link.xx at the Spill It Now Forums. It features Mariah Carey, Rihanna, Britney Spears (Who is kinda hidden), and Nicole Scherzinger, all of my favorite artists. I think this new banner brings a whole new life to the site. What a great way to start the summer! Enjoy it and be sure to be back for more updates later on in the day!

After her very successful album ''Discipline'', was released last February, Janet Jackson has been all over the place. As if singing and occasional acting isn't enough, Janet is now set to star in an upcoming reality show for MTV! The show, which has already begun casting, follows Janet as she trains and mentors aspiring singers and dancers. The show will be shot as she prepares for her upcoming world tour.

The show will aim for finding the next pop / r&b superstar from local youth foundations, church foundations, or anything of that nature. Also, the show will be taped out on the streets, not in a studio. The winning prize has not been selected yet, but it may have something to do with Jackson's tour.

The one thing I wish is that this untitled project doesn't turn out to be some stupid flop, and I hope that the drama level will stay at an all time low. Lol, well good luck Janet, and more importantly, good luck to all of you contestants!

Nicole Scherzinger, the lead singer of the girl group, The Pussycat Dolls, has been aiming to make a solo career these last two years. All of her singles have failed and did very poorly resulting with her returning back to the Dolls. Their current single "When I Grow Up" is taking over the world, and it looks like Nicole is doing some solo on the side. Here is a new song called "Heartbeat" featuring Pharell Williams. It's a great, uptempo pop song originally sung by Madonna on her album ''Hard Candy''. This would be the perfect #1 single for Nicole! Enjoy!

Soul singer John Legend made his huge debut back in 2004 with his album ''Get Lifted'' which contained the hit single "Used to Love U". He is now back with his 3rd album, out in September. Here is the first rumored single "Green Light" featuring Andre 3000 from Outkast. The song is not to be confused with the Beyonce song of the same name. This "Green Light" is an uptempo r&b song just like his previous work, but with a bit of a pop-dance twist to it. The song will be his next hit, and if he wants to have another successful album, he has to make this his first single. Enjoy!!

With the highest weekly sales figure since 2005, Lil' Wayne crashes in at number 1 on the Billboard 200 with ''Tha Carter III''. The rapper sold just over 1 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan, the first time the six-figure threshold was crossed since 50 Cent's ''The Massacre'' back in March 2005.

Sales for ''Tha Carter III'', Lil Wayne's first number 1 on the Billboard 200, were helped along by several of the rapper's new singles, including the hit "Lollipop" featuring Static Major. His previous biggest sales week was a 238,000-unit start for ''Tha Carter II'' in 2005, which entered The Billboard 200 at number 2. Plies' ''Definition of Real'' sold 215,000 to debut at number 2, the same position his 2007 album ''The Real Testament'' achieved. His current hit "Bust It Baby" featuring Ne-Yo is working its way up the Hot 100, sitting at #12 this week.

Congrats to Weezy, he really deserved it. It has been a while for this return, and I could tell he will be enjoying him self these next couple of days.

Hey everyone! I'm so sorry about all these lack of updates. I cannot it's already been 4 days without me posting anything! Well, this week has been very busy for me, and it will be until Friday, when I can start doing major updates again. Also, nothing really has been leaking, so there wasn't much to really post. But be insured, we will be back very shortly (if not even later today)! Thanks for understanding! :)

After the very successful first album, ''PCD'', the Dolls are back! Here is the Pussycat Dolls newest video for their single "When I Grow Up". I absolutely love this song and the video is fabulous as well! I could tell they edited the chorus a bit and you can hear more of the girls vocals then just Nicole. The video reminds a bit of Lloyd's "How We Do It (Around My Way)", and I love the dance break near the middle. Never the less this will be another hit for the girls.Their sophomore effort, ''Doll Domination'' will be out in September. Enjoy it!

High School Musical star, Vanessa Hudgens will also be releasing her sophomore album this summer. The first single, "Sneakernight" is not doing that good, and I can't blame the world! The song literally sucks, and does not showcase any of her talent. The video is cool, and I love her shows, but if the song sucks, the video can't be that good. She needs to release a second single soon if she wants to be saved! Enjoy the video!!

Q: WHO WILL HAVE THE BIGGEST COMEBACK THIS SUMMER?

The Pussycat Dolls → 50% (160 votes)
Ashanti → 35% (112 votes)
Ciara → 10% (33 votes)
T.I. 2% → (6 votes)
Robin Thicke → 2% (5 votes)
Lloyd 1% → (3 votes)

This month's poll was a close one! The Pussycat Dolls and Ashanti were getting head-to-head, but in the end my girls came out and won! Poor Lloyd. He only got 3 votes, the worst I've ever seen. This poll had 319, a bit more from last month's. Be sure to vote in the new poll, up shortly! Oh, and here's just another short little announcement, VOTE FOR US! Thanks! :D

After 6 years of waiting for the case to go to trial, and so many twists and turns in the case, R. Kelly was found not guilty today for recording him having sex with an underage 14 year-old girl. If he was charged he could of spent 4 years in jail and be registered as a sex offender in Illinois.

Charges began way back in '02, but the trial finally started last month after many delays and continued on for 4 weeks. Helping the jurors in their decision was a mole on his back that prosecutors claimed was proof that Kelly was indeed the man in the video who participated in the three-way with another woman and the minor in various sex acts. The alleged victim, now 23, did not testify against Kelly and neither did her parents.

R. Kelly will be returning to the music scene later this year and she has already started out with his first single "Hair Braider". It has been off to a rocky start, but hopefully his next singles can be better. I wish him all the best, and I hope he never does something stupid like this again.

Missy Elliot is set to release her long anticipated album, ''Block Party'' this fall! The first singles "Ching-a-Ling" and "Shake Your Pom Pom" were just amazing, and now Miss-E has a brand new single. The track, produced by Danja, is called "Best, Best" and I don't know how to even describe it! It's a mix of hip-hop, r&B and a bit of vocal dance music. The beginning was a bit weird, but by the chorus, I fell in love with it! Here's to another hit for Missy! Enjoy!

Nelly's previous single "Party People" with Fergie, started off with a huge bang, but eventually died down on the charts. Now, the rapper has moved onto his 3rd single off of ''Brass Knuckles'', "Stepped On My J'z" featuring Ciara. The song has an old-school urban beat, and it is pretty hilarious! The video is quite funny too, and I love the duo's sense of humor. The vingle (single & video) may be funny, but I really doubt it will be the hit he is waiting for. Enjoy the video!!

Last week, R&B songstress, Ashanti, released her 4th studio album, ''The Declaration''. The album has amazing, good, and very bad tracks on it. Her next single "Body on Me" with Nelly and Akon will impact radio later this month, and for the time being here is a brand new bonus track from the iTUNES version of the disc. The song is called "Why" and I gotta say this is one of my favorite r&b love ballads of all time! The song is a very quick grower, and this should have definitely been on the album. Enjoy it!!

Back in '05, LL Cool J had the biggest song around "Control Myself" with Jennifer Lopez. The 40 year-old hit maker is now back with his newest song "Baby". The song is hip-hop with a good old beat from The-Dream to it. I especially love J's sexual lyrics and The-Dream's addictive voice. This song hasn't been confirmed as a single yet, but I hope it does by the end of this summer! It will definitely be their next hit! Enjoy it!

The spring's most recent hit, "Sexy Can I" by Ray J and Yung Berg has been an absolute phenomenon, and time has come for Ray J to move on to his second single. The second single off ''All I Feel'', called "Gifts" is a bit of a slow r&B / hip-hop track but it will definitely grow onto you. The video, is like all of the other hip-hop videos, full of sexy women! LMFAO, no this video is not as good as "Sexy Can I", but it is still watchable. Enjoy!!

Today, MediaTakeOut.com is reporting that that is huge affair happening on the set of Mariah Carey and T.I.'s music video for her track "I'll Be Lovin' You Long Time" off the album ''E=MC²''. According to members of the crew, the entire set is gossiping about a secret hookup between MC and the rapper.

The video is currently being shot on location is Hawaii and a memeber of the crew supposedly said the pair snuck off the set and were gone for 2 hours! They supposedly held up production and returned back the 2 were giggling and smiling at each other. The insider also said there was a lot of chemistry between them, and it was very ovbious.

Both Mariah and T.I. (Real name: Clifford Harris) are in relationship. Mariah recently wed actor Nick Cannon and he is engaged to singer Tameka Cottle. I personally hope they are not doing anything becuase it would be very sad for Nick and Tameka. Let's all pray Mariah will not be lovin' T.I. long time! :)

Latina duo, Prima J, rose to fame late last year with their hit, yet kinda annoying first single "Rockstar". The girls are back with their new song "Corazon (You're Not Alone)". The song is just an absolutely brilliant pop song, and I think it is something a lot of people can relate to. The video is a bit to casual, but it is still a lotta fun. I love how they added a dance break in the middle of the video. These girls are doing just great, and they are on the right road to stardom. Enjoy!

Jordin Sparks' self-titled debut, became a huge sensation shooting straight to #1, and spawning the very successful single "No Air" with Chris Brown. She has strongly returned for her 3rd single, "One Step at a Time", a beautiful pop-soul song. The video is very cool and different, and she looks absolutely gorgeous! This will defiantly beat out its predecessor, and be her next hit! Enjoy it!

Lloyd has been trying to make an anticipated return to music this spring, and after a first unsuccesful single "How We Do It (Around My Way)", he is back with his second single "Girls Around the World". The song is a laidback hip-hop / r&b track featuring Lil' Wayne, and I can only say, it's not Lloyd's best. The video is pretty simple and boring also, and I cannot see this being a hit anytime soon, His upcoming album, ''Lessons in Love'' will be out later this year! Enjoy!

Out to promote their newest single, the Pussycat Dolls performed their latest future hit track, "When I Grow Up" last night at the MTV Movie Awards in Universal City (North Hollywood), California. I really enjoyed this performance, and I'm very glad to see my favorite girls back into the spotlight. All of the girls, especially lead singer Nicole Scherzinger looked gorgeous! Hopefully, more new material off their upcoming album album, ''Doll Domination'', will leak soon! Enjoy!
