Making the Band's pop girl group, Danity Kane has been in the spotlight this last month with many rumors swirling about the 5 music making girls. And now the biggest news to drop, is the most shocking. Sources are claiming that right before a Baby Phat Fashion Show, Diddy held an exclusive meeting with the girls. The meeting was then turned into a screaming match when Aubrey O'Day went about about member Dawn Richard branching off into a solo record. After more drama Diddy told Aubrey that she was out of the group. He then went off on D. Woods saying that he heard she was unhappy as well, and that she was out also! It has been mentioned that this footage may be appearing on the Making the Band 4.3 finale this Tuesday on MTV! Hope it's not true!

EDIT: It appears that the group's debut album, ''Danity Kane'' has been removed off of iTunes. Maybe this is a hint?

WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE BAD BOY SINGER OR GROUP?

Danity Kane → 50% (85 votes)
Cassie → 24% (41 votes)
Other → 11% (18 votes)
Day26 → 5% (9 votes)
Donnie Klang → 5% (9 votes)
Diddy → 5% (8 votes)

This poll was a bit a disappointment from other polls in the past reaching only 170 votes! You guys selected Danity Kane as your esteemed favorite artist or group of Bad Boy Records. Second was Cassie who got 44 less votes then the girls. And it seems nobody is liking Bab Boy founder Diddy much these days, as he only got 8 votes! Be sure to vote in next months poll, which will be up shortly!

Last summer Making the Band contestant Donnie Klang didn't make the boy band Day26, but instead got his own recording contract as a solo singer. Couple months back he debuted his first single "Take You There" with Diddy. The pop-dance track, has been considered a flop, but Donnie isn't letting go just yet by releasing a video for the track. The video, just like the song, is quite mellow and boring, and I don't really see the point of the lesbians in the video. If he thought the track would get more popular now, he was way wrong. Enjoy, I guess.

Southern rapper Nelly has a lot in store for him this summer. He is going to release his album ''Brass Knuckles'' in September, he's been invited to dozens of Atlanta parties, and now, he has been named the official spokes model of Diddy's Sean John underwear line. The photo shoot was done in Los Angeles, and has all the media buzzing! Only one picture has been released so far, with more expected as we reach closer to the fall season.

Diddy said on Monday, "I have known Nelly for many years and I really admire his work. To me, Nelly is the quintessential definition of the Sean John man. He has the attitude, the swagger, and most of all the physique that our customers can both aspire and relate to. And let’s be honest, all of the ladies out there are going to be thanking us for this campaign. The images are so strong; they speak for themselves. We are truly excited to welcome Nelly into the Sean John family." I can't wait to see what else is gonna come out of this. All credit goes to Concrete Loop.

Oops! This past weekend Diddy was almost left out of the party he was hosting in the Hamptons. The reason, because the club was already packed with over 1,000 people ready to get freaky with the rapper! “They were blocking Diddy’s grand entrance,” said a spy who was lurking outside the Hamptons nightclub. “He and his entourage arrived with a three-car fleet of SUVs and were forced to turn around. He couldn’t even make it close to the front door.”

But never fear! The rapper eventually let go of his grand entrance and snuck in through the back (How gangsta can he get?). Once inside the club, the music was turned off for 15 minutes while the VIP section was cleared for His Royal Diddyness. Only the best for our American royalty! :)

R&B boy band, Day26, got their start last year on Diddy's MTV show Making the Band. Now, a year later, the boys are sensations around the country. Their second single, "Since You've Been Gone" off their self-titled debut, is a bit of a grower, but eventually, you will learn to love it. The video is like those for most other R&B love songs, but this one was different, I really like it. I hope these boys go far, they really deserve it. Enjoy!

Donnie J. ~ "Dr. Love" (New Song)

Danity Kane and Day26, Diddy's Making the Band prodigies have been very successful, but what ever happened to supposed solo artist, Donnie J.? He is set to release his debut album this summer, but after a very disappointing first single "Take You There", I think this newly leaked track "Dr. Love" can quickly take him up the charts. The song is very much like material from Justin Timberlake, but it is still really good. Hopefully, Donnie can get popular soon! Enjoy!

Donnie J featuring Diddy ~ Take You There (New Song)

Sunday, March 23, 2008

I am very dissapointed by this. For a first single Donnie could have done so much better! This song is called "Take You There" which features a verse from Diddy. This doesn't compare to the "Take You There" by Sean Kingston, which is HOT! I love this guy (as a singer), and he has much better songs out there than this. But, just like all of these other Making the Band singers, maybe it can eventually grown onto me. It just came onto iTUNES today, which is very odd since its a Sunday. But, this song could be hot in clubs and stuff, since many of his fans are liking it. Enjoy, I guess.

Day26 ~ Got Me Going (Video Premiere)

Tuesday, March 18, 2008

This is such a great video for such a great first single! This is the video premiere for Diddy's latest group Day26's first ever single "Got Me Going". I am really loving this track and the video just made me like this a hella lot more! At first I didn't think this group would last, but they proved me wrong! They are fire, and really becoming popular now with the launch of Making the Band 4 along with Danity Kane and Donnie J. The group's self-titled album will be out next week, and I am pretty sure it will be hot! Enjoy this amazing video!

Day26 ~ Since You've Been Gone (New Song)

Tuesday, March 4, 2008

Here is a brand new track from Diddy's latest prodigies, Day26. They were the new group that was created on Making the Band 4 last year. The song is just ok, and not that exhilaritning to me. It definitely doesn't compare to Kelly Clarkson's smash hit of the same name. It has not been confirmed if the track will make it onto the all album, so we will just have to wait a little longer till its release later this month. Enjoy!

Cassie ~ Is It You? (Video Premiere)

Sunday, February 3, 2008

Diddy's prodigy R&B recording artist Cassie is doing double duty! She has a small role in the upcoming movie Step Up 2, which opens in theaters in the US on Valentine's Day (February 14), and she has also worked for the movie's soundtrack recording a song, produced by Ryan Leslie, called "Is It You?". Now with the movie release getting pretty close they released the video. The video features a piano instrumental in the begining not featured in the album version. The song is very nice, but the video, not so much, lol. Enjoy!

Making the Band Update + New Songs!

Friday, January 25, 2008

Wow, not just new stuff from Danity Kane today, but also new things from the untitled band from Making the Band 4! All we need left is Donnie Klang's new music and the whole crew will be set! Also another quick reminder the new season of Making the Band will premiere Monday, January 28 on MTV at 10 pm Pacific Time.

First up is the girls, Danity Kane. Just a week after putting up the poll to vote for their new single the new single of the girls has been chosen! It is the track "Damaged", as we all know and loved. The final edit features Diddy's voice near the end. Its no big deal so I'm not gonna post the new version, just re-post the old version. I'm happy they chose it over "Pretty Boy". Also, their new album called ''Welcome to the Dollhouse'', will be dropping on March 18. In addition, the girls are featured on this month's issue of KING Magazine and their song new song "2 of You" will be featured on the soundtrack for Step Up 2.

Next is the guys turn! The group still doesn't have a name, but their new tracks are pretty good! 2 of their songs leaked called "Got Me Going" and "Together". "Got Me Going" is rumored to be their first single! Their album is supposed to be released a week before DK's on March 11th! That's good news for Diddy and Bad Boy Records! Lol.
