If you read this post, you would have known that 15 of the highest-achieving female artists would be recording a song entitled "Just Stand Up" as a charity single for cancer awareness. The song features vocals from Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Ashanti, Keyshia Cole, Ciara, Mary J. Blige, Fergie, Rihanna, Leona Lewis, Natasha Bedingfield, Sheryl Crow, Carrie Underwood, LeAnn Rimes, Melissa Etheridge, and Miley Cyrus, The song is not as great as I had expected, but it is pretty decent. It just sucks because some singers (Fergie, Carrie Underwood), got plenty of verses, while some others (Ashanti, Ciara), only got 1 verse. All proceeds of this single are set to be donated to the research of cancer. The song will be performed live at the Stand Up to Cancer television special, set to air September 5th on ABC, NBC, and CBS. This song is going to be just amazing, and M&M ~ Music Mania will have it for you when it leaks!
