Later on this year, rapper Ludacris will be releasing his album, ''Theater of the Mind''. His first single "What Them Girls Like" with Chris Brown. The song is slowly gaining some success and is a great hip-hop song for the clubs. The video has a great atmosphere and is very fun and television-friendly unlike some of his past videos, lol. I really wish him the best with this single! Enjoy it!

NEW MUSIC: Monica featuring Ludacris ~ "Still Standing"

Yet another r&b legend is releasing a new single today! First Brandy, and now Monica. 2 summers ago Monica was on the top of the r&b charts with her single "Everytime tha Beat Drop". She has now returned with her newest single "Still Standing" featuring rapper Ludacris. The song has a bit of a slow start, but quickly becomes a great mid tempo soul / r&b track. The lyrics are pretty meaningful and she sounds a lot like contemporary Mary J. Blige. It's a bit of a slow down from "Everytime tha Beat Drop", but I'm sure it will sure become huge! Enjoy it!!

This year rapper Ludacris is set to drop his album, ''Theater of the Mind''. After a long wait, we finally have his first single, "What Them Girls Like" featuring Chris Brown. Luda really shines in this one , and it is just blazing hot, and I really love Chris' verse. This is way better than your average rap / hip-hop music, and what more can I really say, this is just an amazing track! This will definitely be a huge hit this fall. Enjoy the song!

Q: WHO WOULD BE YOUR FAVORITE DREAM DATE?

Other → 24% (52 votes)
  • Britney Spears (6 votes)
  • Nicole Scherzinger (3 votes)
  • Ludacris (2 votes)
  • Lil' Wayne (2 votes)
Rihanna → 22% (48 votes)
Chris Brown → 19% (41 votes)
Mariah Carey → 17% (37 votes)
Beyonce → 11% (24 votes)
T.I. → 5% (11 votes)
Nelly 2% → (5 votes)

This poll was kind of a disappointment. It achieved about a little more than half the votes from last month's poll. In the end the ''Other'' category ended up winning with the top votes going to Britney Spears, Nicole Scherzinger, Ludacris and Lil' Wayne. Rihanna technically came in first, and poor Nelly only got 2% of the votes. A new will be up very shortly. Be sure to continue supporting this blog, and please vote in the next poll! Thanks!

Ciara featuring Ludacris ~ "High Price" (New Song)

Her last album, ''The Evolution'' was such a huge success, and what is expected to be of Ciara's future at the moment is unpredictable. Her new album tentatively titled ''Fantasy Ride'' is due later this year, and with the way this first single is, I am a bit disappointed. The track, called "High Price" with the rapper Ludacris, barely showcases CiCi's amazing voice, and in my opinion a very horrible song. But maybe this can grow on me? Enjoy it!!

3 Video Premieres ~ Lloyd, Lil' Mama & Carrie Underwood

Wow! This day of video premieres is just not stopping! Here are 3 more videos all quickly mashed up into this 1 post. The first video is for Lloyd's "How We Do It (Around My Way)" featuring Ludacris. I really love the green-screen effects, and glad to see both these dudes back. The next video is Lil' Mama's video for her song called "L.I.F.E.". I'm not really a big fan of her music, but the song and video both have really great meanings. And the final video, is for Carrie Underwood's track "Last Name". I'm not a fan of country, but this I guess is a decent song. The video continues off from where her hit video "Before He Cheats" left off. I really like this concept and i know it will be an instant classic! Enjoy 'em!

Fergie ~ Labels or Love (New Song)

Ever since branching out of the Black Eyed Peas, Fergie has been one of the most successful solo acts in the US. With her hits like the catchy "Glamorous" with Ludacris, it seems like this lady will never back down. Her album is set to re-release early this summer and the first single off it is a midtempo song called "Labels or Love". It's no "Clumsy", but I really like it, and it is really catchy! This is going to be another huge step in her career. But don't worry if you miss BEP. They are already back in the studio recording their next album, out later this year. Enjoy!

Chingy featuring Ludacris & Bobby Valentino ~ Gimme That (Video Premiere)

Tuesday, February 5, 2008

Haha! All I can say is Chingy has not changed a bit! His new video is for his song called "Gimme That" featuring Luda and Bobby Valentino off his newest album ''Hate It or Love It''. The song is ok, but I'm starting to kinda like it. The chorus will be huge in clubs, and it will stay in your mind a lot! I'm just really happy about Ludacris coming back to the music scene after a year off. So enjoy the video, but there is nothing special about it.

Vh1's Top 40 Videos of 2007

Thursday, December 20, 2007

Every year around this time Vh1 comes out the top 40 greatest videos of the year. Last year's list was quite impressive with the top spot taken by The Pussycat Dolls' "Buttons". This year's list, was not as comprehensive. It actually disappointed me, alot.

The top video was Fergie's "Big Girls Don't Cry" which I think deserved to be somewhere in the 30's. In second was Daughtry's "It's Not Over", which I would have given #15 or so. In third through fifth were Pink's "U + Ur Hand", Rihanna's "Umbrella", and Maroon 5's "Makes Me Wonder". I think "Umbrella" would have been better of at number 2, while Maroon 5 and Pink would be good somwhere between #20 - 27. So now you are probably wondering what my top video is? I would have chosen Ludacris and Mary J. Blige's "Runaway Love" which placed in #18. You can view the full list and watch the videos right here.

And, if you were waiting for it or something, here is the download link for the mp3 of "Big Girls Don't Cry", your top video of 2007.
