VIDEO PREMIERE: Ne-Yo ~ "Miss Independent"

With his 3rd album ''Year of the Gentleman'' dropping next month, Ne-Yo, is releasing his second single "Miss Independent". The song is a smooth r&b / pop track, which is starting to grow onto me. The video is really interesting, and I love how it is set in an office. and all his co-workers like him. The video also features appearances from a lot of celebrities, including singer Keri Hilson. Let's see if this lives up to his first single, "Closer". Enjoy!!

HOT STORY: Lil' Wayne Debuts With 1 Million Copies Sold!

With the highest weekly sales figure since 2005, Lil' Wayne crashes in at number 1 on the Billboard 200 with ''Tha Carter III''. The rapper sold just over 1 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan, the first time the six-figure threshold was crossed since 50 Cent's ''The Massacre'' back in March 2005.

Sales for ''Tha Carter III'', Lil Wayne's first number 1 on the Billboard 200, were helped along by several of the rapper's new singles, including the hit "Lollipop" featuring Static Major. His previous biggest sales week was a 238,000-unit start for ''Tha Carter II'' in 2005, which entered The Billboard 200 at number 2. Plies' ''Definition of Real'' sold 215,000 to debut at number 2, the same position his 2007 album ''The Real Testament'' achieved. His current hit "Bust It Baby" featuring Ne-Yo is working its way up the Hot 100, sitting at #12 this week.

Congrats to Weezy, he really deserved it. It has been a while for this return, and I could tell he will be enjoying him self these next couple of days.

Ne-Yo ~ "Trouble" (New Song)

Ne-Yo's latest hit ''Closer'' is just fire on the chars and with his album ''Year of the Gentleman'' out very soon, I think it is time for him to choose his second single. This newly leaked song entitled "Trouble" would be the best choice. It's fun, exciting and a very cool, upbeat track. The beat is just crazy and the lyrics may not be the best, but I still think it can be a #1. Ne-Yo has also been working on some new material for other artists lately, and I can't wait to see how that turns out. Enjoy this!

Ne-Yo ~ Closer (Video Premiere)

As one of the biggest producers of the musical world, many people didn't expect his musical career to be that great. But, 2 albums later Ne-Yo is fire, and one of the biggest r&b singers of this decade. His latest single "Closer" is an amazing piece of music, unlike anything from him before. The video, is even more amazing! It is just so creative and fun to watch. His latest album, ''Year of the Gentleman'' will be out by the summer. Enjoy!

Rihanna ~ Take a Bow (New Song)

Here is Rihanna's new track from the re-release of ''Good Girl Gone Bad'' called "Take a Bow". And actually, it's her new single! Ya, it pretty much sucks, but a lot of people like it. It is a bit to ballad for me, and not single material like her current hit "Don't Stop the Music". It also kinda reminds me of her duet with Ne-Yo, "Hate That I Love You". Ryan Seacrest premiered the song today on one of my favorite, local radio stations, 102.7 KIIS FM (Yes, I'm from Los Angeles)! Enjoy the song, though I doubt it can go far.

Ne-Yo ~ Closer (New Song)

This song just rocks! I have never really cared for Ne-Yo's music but this track has changed my mind! This new track is called "Closer" and it is a very good dance pop / r&b song. His songs he produces are very good, and really nice, but to me it always seemed like his good material away. But, now he saved the best for last. This song is just absolutely hot and I loooove it! He is currently working on his 3rd album, which it looks like will be very sooner than we all expected. Enjoy!

Ne-Yo Arrested!

The 28-year-old hip-hop star was arrested early Tuesday in Atlanta after Cobb County police clocked his Range Rover going more than 100 mph. Police spokeswoman Cassie Reece said Ne-Yo, whose real name is Shaffer Smith, was booked on charges of reckless driving and driving without a license and released later that day on a $1,300 bond. He's due in court March 25 to answer to the charges.

Ne-Yo, whose sophomore album ''Because of You'' won the Grammy this year for Best Contemporary R&B Album, and has so far been having an o.k. year. The rapper-songwriter is currently embroiled in a lawsuit against the tour promoter behind R Kelly's recent ''Double Up Tour'', from which Ne-Yo was booted after only two shows. Ne-Yo has also been busy prepping for his follow-up to ''Because of You'' and fielding songwriting requests from Usher and Janet Jackson, among others.

Nicole Scherzinger featuring Ne-Yo ~ Happily Never After (New Song)

Finally! New music from my favorite singer, Nicole Scherzinger! Today, the HQ of her track "Happily Never After" featuring producer / singer Ne-Yo leaked! It will be off the album, ''Her Name Is Nicole'', which is now said will be released later this year (after numerous push-backs). Also, Robin Antin stated in a new interview that Nicole has reunited with the Dolls and they are working on their sophomore album. Maybe this song will be Nicole's last release, after many failed singles. I don't blame the girl for not even releasing her album. I'm really loving this song, and it is one of the ballads I've ever heard! Enjoy!
